Our frankincense is from mature, well preserved trees in our family farms in the North western Somaliland.  Eco Frankincense owners and partners are personally connected to each farm. We even know some of the names of the specific trees that our resin is collected from. The tree in the picture is an actual tree from one of our family farms and is nicknamed "Barkhadle," the "good-omen." Yes, many farmers give special names to their trees, underpinning their deep connection to the tree.
